About the First Colony Gold
The First Colony Gold swim team is a recreational Summer swim team affiliated with the Southwest Houston Recreational Swim League. We practice and host home swim meets at the Settlers Park Community Pool, located at 3010 Settlers Way Blvd, Sugar Land, TX 77479.
The Southwest Houston Recreational Swim League is a Summer swim league composed of community and subdivision swim teams in the Southwest Houston Area including Alief, Sugar Land, Missouri City, Meadows Place, Mission Bend, Stafford, Houston, and Richmond, Texas. Teams are open to swimmers 4-18 years of age. We also offer a Junior Gold swim group for those with less swimming experience, with the goal of being able to swim across the pool by the end of the school year. Throughout all age groups, a strong emphasis is placed on advancing swimming skills, sportsmanship, water safety, and promoting fun through a competitive Summer swimming program.
